How We Define Local
StayLocal defines a local business as one that is owned in majority by New Orleans area resident(s), and is responsible for its own decision making regarding marketing, operations, and legal proceedings; businesses registered as "non-Louisiana" with the Louisiana Secretary of State do not qualify for listing.
We serve independent businesses in the Greater New Orleans region that includes the following parishes: Orleans, Plaquemines, Jefferson, St. Bernard, and St. Tammany. By joining StayLocal you are affirming that your business conforms to StayLocal's definition of a locally owned and operated business.
About the Application Process
StayLocal reviews all applications and may request more information from a business for the purpose of verifying local ownership. StayLocal reserves the right to refuse membership to any business. If you have any questions about whether your business qualifies as locally owned and independent, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
