Above & Beyond Award Winners Announced!!!

The votes are in and the winners of this year’s Urban Conservancy Above & Beyond Awards are:
Black Velvet Oyster Bar and Grill, Campbell’s Coffee & Tea, Zuppardo’s Family Supermarket, Pal’s Lounge and Poydras Junction Hardware & Marine Supplies were chosen by the communities as the businesses that go above and beyond in serving their needs, particularly in engaging the communities of the region.
Beyond those, based on the nominations we received, three special awards go to:
Edwards Shoe Service receives our Continuity award for longstanding service to the community.
Teacher’s Stop, Inc. receives the Resiliency award for adaptive business modeling in order to sustain and grow.
Lupo Enterprises receives the Leadership award for the dedication, time and service placed into the redevelopment and building of the community in a post-disaster environment.
