Plus, get an exclusive tour of Nurhan Gokturk's studio (work pictured above) and Carlton Scott Sturgill's newest exhibition, "Glass Houses."
This isn’t your typical networking event. StayLocal is all about fostering community and camaraderie between local business owners. This meetup brings together local, entrepreneurial businesses in diverse fields. We belive it’s through relationship-building, resource sharing, and having some fun with your peers that businesses can thrive.

There will be complementary drinks and food, plus door prizes! All are welcome.

We'll be meeting in The Engine Room on the first floor of the building (look for the signs). The entrance to the gallery is located on the far end of the building by the train tracks. The Engine Room is a non-profit art space featuring contemporary art.

All are welcome! RSVP here

Getting there:
The studio is located in a large factory building off of N. Robertson St. before the train tracks. If you are coming from the West (heading towards the Bywater) - as you approach the bridge that goes over the tracks, stay in the left lane. Then, take a slight left a few yards from the bridge. The turn comes up quick and if you miss if you have to loop back around to St. Claude Ave.
Parking is available under the underpass, along N. Robertson St., and on the surrounding streets.

Carlton Scott Sturgill - "Inspired by the bedroom communities of the Midwest, my work examines the conflict between our need to push our individual sexual boundaries and our longing to appear as ambassadors of a white-picket-fence America... My paintings, sculptures and mosaics use the vernacular of the American heartland to scratch the surface of suburban pretense, exploring the compulsion to both veil ourselves behind the facade of the American Dream and our desire to expose our most intimate moments through the wormhole of electronic media." This year StayLocal is changing up our SourceNOLA finale event! Instead of listening to a few experts speak, we’re going to see how many experts are in the room. For this night of trivia, we’ll break into teams and test your knowledge on business topics from historic New Orleans businesses, to professional etiquette, to national economic trends. There will be prizes, music, food, networking and area business-to-business (B2B) businesses will be tabling to show off their services.
