This summer StayLocal hosted two events to assist local businesses with social media marketing. We had speakers from several local organizations share tips and strategies for boosting your online presence. If you missed a session or need a re-cap, all the slides are available below.

Instagram for Business with FSC Interactive

Facebook with Flynn Zaiger of Online Optimism
  • Beginner - Scared of Facebook? Never even signed up? Just getting used to Liking things? This session is for all the Facebook beginners out there. We'll walk you through everything from signing up for the network (for both yourself and your business), to crafting the perfect first post.   • Advanced / IntermediateFor those that already have a Facebook page, and are busy posting away, this session is perfect for taking your social media game to the next level. We're going to deep-dive into Facebook's advertising options, and showcase the amazing potential of its ad network. We'll cover the Power Editor, A/B Testing, Facebook Pixels, Custom Audiences, and Conversion Tracking (it's going to be a busy session!) Online Reputations with Wendy Dolan of Get Online NOLA
  • Business to Consumer (B2C)Reputation Marketing enables your customers and clients to do the talking for you. This is so important in today’s online world, because consumers trust what other people say about you more than what you say about yourself. This session will explore platforms and strategies that B2C companies can use to increase new business and customer loyalty, while giving your SEO a boost too. We’ll look at the specifics of setting up, configuring, and maintaining review sites such as Yelp, TripAdvisor, and Google +.  We’ll also cover techniques for encouraging better customer reviews, and managing the inevitable bad ones.
