Since 2001, the Urban Conservancy has been leading and collaborating to strengthen our urban environment and local economy through equitable practices, policies, and programs. We promote sustainable solutions to New Orleans' distinct land use needs through community and K-12 education and neighborhood-level engagement. We help consumers understand the positive impacts made when they choose local, independent businesses for products and services.

This GiveNOLA Day, the UC's goal is to raise funds for our three main projects- the Front Yard Initiative, our summer program BASIN, and StayLocal.

Here's how to help: early giving begins April 23. Schedule a donation to Urban Conservancy ahead of Give NOLA Day, or donate in real time on May 7, 2024. Your donation helps StayLocal continue to support local business owners by providing education and networking opportunities that connect local businesses to customers and each other.

Once 5:00 pm hits, we'll be outside with fellow nonprofits in our sector enjoying the weather and happy to meet you in person! Listen to music and come see us at Grounds Krewe, 3962 Magazine St. from 5-8 pm for Give NOLA Day!
