When: August 5th and August 6th, 9:00AM - 4:00PM

Food businesses can become eco-conscious by implementing a few effective changes. Learn how at StayLocal’s free workshop, hosted along with Nunez Community College and GREEN Hospitality, a Hong Kong-based group accelerating sustainable practices in travel and tourism worldwide.

The workshop will be delivered in a series of modules to help participants understand the environmental, social, and economic impacts of food waste in the F&B industry. We’ll share effective strategies and techniques to reduce food waste, consider factors such as inventory management, portion control, creative menu planning and food waste auditing, and access real-life examples from prior participants, all of which will inform your plans to change operations at your restaurant, café, catering company, pop up, festival, or wherever you create food for others to enjoy.
